Description
This North West corner of Mendon Road and Scott St, is the pickup and drop off point for several school bus runs daily. A dry area for the children to stand at is needed. The corner has degraded over the years and the curb radius has eroded due to numerous years of water collection and poor drainage
The corner needs a drain to collect and dissipate the accumulating water so that the road is reasonable for standing in while the children await the school bus.
The corner radius needs to be restored to design specifications and a granite or asphalt curb installed after the dry well drain is installed.
Over the past years I have asked for this issue to be addressed, it needs attention now, or no later then when if ever this section of Mendon road is resurfaced, which has not happened in over 27+ years.

The problem is ongoing, and a field of ice covers the intersection involving 2 stop signs, could the HWY DEPARTMENT send out a sanding truck to reduce the risk of trip & falls or auto hazzards.
A Bobs Furnature truck slid through the intersection 5 minutes ago!

Looking forward to spring / summer when a drain can be installed.
